biopsies

A biopsy is used to accurately diagnose suspicious spots or lesions. A small skin sample is taken and examined to determine if the cells are benign or cancerous.

Excisions

Excision involves removing a lesion along with a margin of healthy skin. It’s commonly used for confirmed skin cancers or moles needing complete removal.

Curettage

Curettage removes superficial lesions by gently scraping the affected tissue. It is often paired with cautery and suited for certain non-melanoma skin cancers.

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy uses controlled freezing to destroy abnormal or sun-damaged skin cells. Ideal for treating Actinic Keratoses, warts, and some benign lesions.

Immune Response Modifier

Immune-modifying creams work by stimulating the body’s natural defences to clear abnormal cells, often used for superficial cancers and high-risk sun spots.

Topical Antimetabolite Creams

These prescription creams target rapidly dividing cells, helping treat early skin cancers such as superficial BCCs and precancerous sun-damaged spots

Topical Non-Steroidal Medications

Non-steroidal topical treatments help manage inflammation and surface-level skin changes, supporting recovery and improving skin health without steroids.
